PHYBIT ANNOUNCES NEW PROCESSOR SOLUTIONS
Optimized for Physical Layer and Wireless Protocols

Tokyo, Japan. – 24 March 2008 – Phybit Inc., today announced that it has developed two new families of signal and protocol processors that cover the physical (PHY) and media access control (MAC) layers of broadband base stations.

The H2 Series of signal computing processors are optmized for and support the entire digital signal processing domain of software-defined radio (SDR) functions; including multiple antenna (MiMo) detection, modulation/demodulation, and error correction. The L2 Series of wireless protocol processors cover all the Layer 2 procedures; such as radio resource management (RRM), scheduling, handoff control, quality of service (QoS), and security.

"Now we have made it significantly easier for our customers to develop their end solutions and introduce new products to market faster," said Kourosh Matloubi, Phybit Vice President of Marketing. "Our customers can have the confidence of using a complete set of integrated solutions that are custom-made for their specific application implementations."

Phybit offers the new versatile lines of processors pre-programmed with a library of Software-Defined Radio (SDR) functions and Radio Resource Management (RRM) protocols for specific baseband tasks; per our customers' specifications.

Phybit, Inc. is a privately held software and semiconductor company developing processors for broadband base stations. We help wireless equipment manufacturers and mobile operators enter demanding markets faster with remarkable performance and cost advantages.
